About Rob Kelly - Thrive Programme Creator

Rob Kelly has spent the last 30 years' analysing what makes people ‘tick’ through his work in practice as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. His experiences and research have led to a high level of understanding of people’s problems, symptoms and anxieties. He has identified links between our belief systems, our different styles of thinking, and the way we respond emotionally to events, and how these responses create many of the problems and symptoms that people want and need help with.
After 20 years in clinical practice, Rob consolidated research and practical experience to create The Thrive Programme and the accompanying workbook. This mental health training programme enables people to overcome many symptoms and problems, including anxiety, depression, phobias and immune system issues.
The Thrive Programme for Emetophobia is available as a book, online course or to work through with a specially trained Thrive Programme Coach. It was researched and written after emetophobic readers of Rob’s first book ‘Thrive’ asked for a specific edition that related to a fear of being sick, and is based on a treatment which has cured over 20,000 emetophobes worldwide.
Rob Kelly has trained nearly 100 Thrive Programme Coaches worldwide who are all licensed to take clients through Thrive Programme, either in person or online over Zoom/Skype/FaceTime.
His smoking cessation course (The Rob Kelly Method) is used by therapists nationwide and has a 93% effectiveness rate.
Born in Cornwall and brought up in East Anglia, Rob had a challenging childhood and an abusive father. He nearly died on two occasions by the age of 25, and twice had life-saving brain surgery to alleviate damage caused by a neurological condition called Syringomyelia. He is an international competition-level pilot and a keen musician. He has two grown-up children and lives near Cambridge. UK.
