Persistent And Continuous Effort…
Top Tip ! When you’re working through the programme, the process will be smoother and easier if you apply Persistent And Continuous Effort. The best approach is to put in P.A.C.E. every day – you’ll experience significant changes and benefits much quicker.
A good example of this is 21-year-old Ella (see her recent testimonial below) who was actively engaging with the programme every day, however it only really ‘clicked’ by week 5: she no longer acted out compulsions, had stopped taking anti-sickness tablets (without realising!), and realised she actually no longer feared being sick. It doesn’t matter whether you notice changes immediately, or after 5- 6- 10-! weeks, it’s about focussing on gradual progress – the benefits will be worth it!
Emetophobes tend to be very driven and focussed people – so you’re no doubt used to putting in P.A.C.E. in other areas of your life, and know how beneficial that is. So when you’re doing the programme, remember to P.A.C.E. yourself!
